The Registration Process
Registration is 100% online; there is no paperwork to fill out, no requirements to come to school. Registration will be open for approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the start of each season. You must complete the online registration process each season that you intend to participate in sports. Registration can be done from any computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the set registration period. *Please note: There have been noted registration issues when trying to use a phone/iPad to complete the process.
What do I need to do in order to complete my registration?
1) There is a $350 non-refundable Registration Fee due at the time of registration (via check or online payment) for each student
athlete registered. This will then be deducted from the Athletic Participation Fee. The registration fee does NOT apply to
families who have previously paid their yearly participation fee or those families in the Free/Reduced Lunch program.
2) The Ipswich High School handbook and concussion education courses can be found on the "link" page. You are expected to
read and complete these both prior to registering.
3) Complete the online registration. Check your email inbox to confirm your registration was processed.
4) A valid physical (given within 13 months of the start of the season) must be turned in/mailed to the Athletic Office. Virtual
Exams are not valid.
5) The athletic participation fee ($650/student per year, $900 family maximum). A minimum payment of $350 per student-athlete
due at the time of registration, can be paid by check or online through the districts online payment center.
5) You should receive two confirmation emails once registration has been completed. The first and immediate email comes from
FamilyID - this is your receipt and proof of registration. The second email will come from athletics@ipsk12.net. You may need
to check your junk folder - this email will confirm the athletic department has received your registration and will notify you if
you owe anything to complete the process in order to have your child added to the team roster. Please keep an eye out for
important this email!
*If you have not received these emails, we recommend that you check with the athletic department 1-2 weeks before the start of
the season to ensure all steps have been completed with your registration & to ensure there is no confusion on the first day of
practice/try-outs.
